We believe that allowing artwork to be discovered by the average person will change the business. What is My ArtAdviser?

My ArtAdviser is where you are sent when you log-in to your account.  It is the hub for all of the operations that you will be able to perform on ArtAdviser.  Currently, you can perform the following actions in My ArtAdviser:

  • Manage your Online Gallery (upload pieces, create/edit your bio, etc)
  • Update your User Info
  • Review the status of your pending orders
  • Visit the ArtAdviser Forums
  • We have big plans to add more services and features to My ArtAdviser in the coming weeks and months.  Please visit often to see all of the new tools as we release them. If you have a suggestion for a feature that you would like to see on the site please contact us here.

How do I create my own online gallery?

Once you have signed up as an artist, the process is simple!  Click on the "To begin using your service now click here" link in My ArtAdviser.  From here you can easily begin uploading pictures of your artwork and creating your biography. How do I upload a picture of one of my pieces to my art gallery?

Uploading artwork is very simple. First login to My ArtAdviser and click the "Manage My Portfolio" button located on the right in your My ArtAdviser section.  That will bring you to a page that displays all of the artwork that you have uploaded. If you have no works currently on the site, you will be prompted to do a Quick Upload. The Quick Upload feature allows you to easily enter the piece name and add an image of the piece. Once you have added the piece to your Portfolio, you can go back and add any additional information on the piece.

How many pictures per piece can I upload?

Currently, you are only permitted to upload one image per piece.

Can I include other websites, e-mail addresses, and contact information in my biography?

Absolutely!  We provide hosting space, ArtAdviser marketing, and traffic for you to expose your artwork.  Our real hope is that you connect directly with collectors and individuals who want to learn more about you and your artwork.

If I want to edit the description or details of a piece in my gallery, how do I do that?
In order to edit the description of one of your pieces:

Click "Manage My Portfolio" in My ArtAdviser for the page with a complete listing of all pieces you’ve added to the site

Click the "Edit this Piece" button underneath the thumbnail of the piece you would like to edit

Add or change any information that you would like to

Click "Save"

I have just made changes to my gallery. Why have these changes not shown up?

Our servers refresh any changes that you have made very quickly.  However, some changes may take several minutes for the site to update. If you do not see your changes reflected within a couple of hours please contact us via the Contact Us page and we will be happy to assist in getting the changes on the site.

I only want prints available for sale. How do I do this?

ArtAdviser currently only supports original works of art. We are adding the functionality to allow for print sales and will update the site once this feature is completed. For questions regarding sales of editioned works please contact us here.
